Big Sam

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 I’m sure that he is very nice.
A decent chap, to be precise,
Who does not have a single vice,
And cares for dogs and cats and mice,
And helps old ladies in a trice,
With eyes that shine like sparkling ice,
And hangdog eyes that can entice
A manager to drop his price.
And sure, he’ll always share a slice
Of cake, when nothing would suffice.

A lot of people have thought twice,
When wondering if they should dice
With someone like Sam Allardyce.

Notes

Ah, Big Sam Allardyce – still fondly remembered down in Limerick where he was manager for a while. Wonder what became of him…
