This evening as Spain whispers to the moon Rayo Vallecano takes on Strasbourg

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 Yes, Rayo Vallecano fans say something like “We can work it out” waiting to reach the ECL Final

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 The first in club’s hard-fought history

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 And to be European Cup finalists as Real Madrid so often are
But let us talk about Strasbourg

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 Beyond its Court of Human Rights what tales do its streets hold
Yes, of course
Strasbourg Cathedral, Palais Rohan, European Parliament, Place Kléber and when Rayo fans arrive in Strasbourg they’ll see a city where past and present flow as one

6 Leave a comment on verse 6 0 But for the footballers in Rayo shirts the tourism is probably the last thing on their minds
-They would feel only the football game alone-
But the fans will still see “European Parliament”

7 Leave a comment on verse 7 0 And in Spain, Strasbourg fans can see the Prado Museum, Retiro Park or Puerta del Sol before the match at Estadio de Vallecas

8 Leave a comment on verse 8 0 On the other hand Rayo fans can stop in Paris for a day and then go to Strasbourg

9 Leave a comment on verse 9 0 There is in the air this feeling of “we can work it out” around Estadio de Vallecas and from the fans’ lips we can read the name of the club and the word “vamos”

10 Leave a comment on verse 10 0 For Rayo’s roar the crowd is proud

11 Leave a comment on verse 11 0 And “We can work it out” could absolutely work as a fantastic football chant anywhere
