True Supporter

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 No fair weather supporter he
No looking for the Tv cameras.
Sun, rain, hail and snow.
Whatever the weather
He takes his place in his chosen arena.
The fear of the drop,
The lure of the top.
Play Rochdale, play Arsenal
And he’s there.
No short-term relationship here,
This one’s for life.
Whether it’s a crowd of forty thousand,
Or four thousand,
He’ll be there,
Armed only with his season ticket.
In his spot
With his dad
With his children
With his grandchildren
With his memories
