And what is a more perilous position –
It was so good to see van der Sar’s
Hat-trick of saves
In the Community Shield at Wembley this year.
And then I think of Fabien Barthez:
The hero of France in ’98,
And all that he went through in England:

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 But you know, I think I will remember him most
For a flying save in the victory at Anfield
When Diego Forlan scored a couple
And Barthez kept us on course for the win.
And maybe this is how all goalies should be recalled –
For their greatest, and not their least, moments.
