1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 What a difference two games can make
six points taken instead of none
us fans going home feeling happy
didn’t know football could be so much fun.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 Can the Sky Blues keep it going
or is it just a flash in the pan ?
but watching from the stands
I really think they can.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 The fans are getting behind them
not calling for the manager’s head
not like Blackburn with their booing
but cheering them on instead.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 The Ricoh was rocking on New Years Eve
us hardcore are up for the fight
it really must have got to me
because in the pub I got a round in that night.

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 So please keep those positive thoughts going
because we need all the help we can get
but us fans will still keep on believing
as the fat lady hasn’t started singing just yet !

Felt good at last to be a Coventry City fan on the back of two well deserved wins just proving once again you just never know what can happen in football.

The fans that turn up these days really get behind the team making lots of noise the fan with his drum was sweating buckets at the end against Brighton !

And many thanks to S.B.Ingle for poem on my club much appreciated.
Although we won the Cup in 87 not 78, but it does seem that long ago !
