Hillsborough Dads

Another Fathers Day without you, another sad Fathers Day.
Twenty three years now since Hillsborough took you away.
Where do I send my love this year, Heaven’s my usual choice.
I’ll send my love through God as I’m sure he hears my voice.
Twenty three years is a very long time for somebody to miss.
That’s far too long to go without giving your loved one a kiss.
I love you everyday Dad, but today just that little bit more.
Hillsborough as ever this year has got so much to answer for.
