The Final Dream

I ‘m on my way, I float above the Boleyn ground
The District Line to the home of many dreams
The rattling carriage playing my tune on the tracks
I’m forever, I’m forever, I’m forever, blowing
Bubbles in my mind, nearer and nearer home
Stations thunder bye, fortune is always hiding
I look for the meaning, I look everywhere, but
The bubbles are always floating, so high, so high
I float through the ever claret hue and blue tinges in
The scheme of things, as I nearly touch the sky
Where I’m born anew, but I know my days are few,
I’m seeing the bubbles as the day is dawning,
But will they come again on another morning, as
I wake, do I see a country lane, a green street
At daybreak, a claret and bluebird sings, I am
Near to happiness now, as I now know that we
Will always be united, West Ham United.
