999–This is an Emergency

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 I’m going to call the police
as this is now a major crime,
my team are losing again
and it’s now happening all the time.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 I’m going to call the police
as I feel that I’m under attack,
our forwards are failing to score
and our defence is weak at the back.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 I’m going to call the police
as my nerves are torn to a shred,
in fact I demand my money back
so I can spend it elsewhere instead.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 I’m going to call the police
as I’ve just made a citizens arrest,
I’ve collared our new manager
and I’m now sitting on his chest.

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 I’m going to the police station
they’ve nicked me for a nuisance call,
but I’m bringing charges against our club
for crimes against humanity and football !

Notes

Inspired by reading about a Man United fan who while in an irate and drunken state phoned 999 asking to speak to Sir Alex Ferguson about his teams defeat to Sunderland in the Capital One Cup the other night.
We may think how stupid is that ? But many times myself I’ve thought about ringing the police and the Samaritans being a long suffering Coventry City fan !
