you toss and turn at night,
will your team stay up
or is it a relegation fight ?

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 The pressure is now on
you need points to survive,
but your team is struggling
and they’ve just let in five.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 The pressure is now on
not many matches left to go,
and the thought of going down
has left you feeling very low.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 The pressure is now on
nails being bitten to the quick,
your nerves are on edge
and you’re constantly feeling sick.

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 The pressure is now on
but time is running out,
yet you lose yet again
so the great escape is in doubt.

6 Leave a comment on verse 6 0 The pressure is now on
what will be the final outcome ?
yes it’s that time of the season
the dreaded squeaky bum !

Notes

It’s here again that part of the campaign for teams at the bottom to start getting twitchy and when their fans also get anxious not knowing if they’ll be staying up or going down.
My team aren’t out of it yet and need a couple of wins to be safe,but we’re getting used to pressure as supporters, so what will be will be !
