Oh…Gareth’s Magic Waistcoat…

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Came from Marks and Sparks
Sure cuts a dash…on a sharp dressed bloke
Racing cross the park.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 He’s raised the nations hopes again
Restored a bit of pride
Mash them Swedes in Saturday’s game…?
We’ll sing this song…all night.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 We’ve rumbled with Colombians
Next we face them Swedes
Yet Gareth don’t fear any-one
He’s what our young team needs.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 He’s raised the nations hopes again
Restored a bit of pride
Mash them Swedes in Saturdays game…?
We’ll sing this song…all night.

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 Oh…Gareths’s magic waistcoat
Came from Marks and Sparks
Sure cuts a dash…on a sharp dressed bloke
Racing cross the park.

6 Leave a comment on verse 6 0 He’s raised the nations hopes again
Restored a bit of pride
Mash them Swedes in Saturdays game…?
We’ll sing this song…all night!

Notes

After reading Kevin (cool name) Halls blinding poem about Gareth’s waistcoat. I thought I’d have a crack at doing a song – about said – and the Ingerland team?
It’s to the tune of, “My Old Mans A Dustman”, By Lonnie Donegan. The song – in another form – is belted out enthusiastically at, “The Bridge”, by West Londoners paying homage to Cesc Fabregas, and goes…

Oh…Fabregas is magic
He wears a magic hat
He could have signed for Arsenal
But…he said, “Nah **** that”,
He passes with his left foot
Passes with his right
and…when…we…win the league again
We’ll sing this song all night!

Oh…and we do…over and over, trust me I’ve witnessed it! Enjoy.

Go well, be lucky and keep smiling.

Peace.
