Steve Haslam

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 With him in our team, we are almost invincible,
lost only four games in which he played,
went to Northampton earlier in our crucial season,
the team without him lost three games, coincidence? i think not
coz with super Steve, we’ve got the lot.
try and get the ball off him,
he floats like a ghost, crosses the ball to the near post.
With Quinn in centre, Haslam’s left on the wing, in which he can ping the perfect ball to Killeen, Sugden or Flash Mansaram and let them do their bit…

Notes

Just discovered this website by searching for Halifax Town goalkeeper Ian Dunbavin and this page came up containing a poem about him made by Craig Wilson and seen as i am sudying poetry for my ‘A’ levels, thought it be a good idea to try and create my own poem about Halifax Town’s number 29, Steve Haslam.!
