1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 April the fifteenth
Nineteen eighty nine
Ninety six never came home
Never forgotten
Never to walk alone
The love of the team in red
The liver bird upon the chest
A tragedy beyond reason
A day forever etched
Upon the heart of a city
Whose children, shall never return
Time shall pass
But wounds shall not heal
The eternal flame burns on
A light to guide
Lost spirits home
Through the Shankly gates
Unto the hollowed turf
To the Kopites song
You’ll never walk alone
