Now is the time, to write another poem,
In tribute of an experienced goal scorer,
Following his quality strike at home,
Let’s pay homage to Lord Tony Lormor.

Surely the management have got it wrong,
To all Anth fans, it’s an almighty wrench,
The Lord is healthy, fit and strong,
So why is he on the bench?

Tony sub again, I can take no more,
Why? I do not know the reason,
As the boy has just ran on to score,
His first goal of the season.

Lormor should be named in the starting line,
Defences he can out-fox,
Anth’s a traditional number nine,
With deadly finishing in the box.

Anth’s goals can come from head and boot,
He is also brave and bold,
But he should NOT be an experienced substitute,
In the traditional bench sitting mould.
