1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 We’ve now had Ten managers in Eleven years
as yet another Coventry boss is shown the door
Andy Thorn no doubt tried his level best
but the men in suits said results are poor.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 So us Sky Blue fans are scratching our heads
as we see another manager now gone
but to get us back into the top flight
we’d need Alex Ferguson and the Special One.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 All we have ever asked for is a winning team
that’s why the hardcore keep on turning up
just one brilliant successful season
with a nice little run in the F.A.Cup.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 So good luck to the new manager coming in
but better make sure you start with a win
because Coventry City fans are a fickle lot
so I hope your tough with a really thick skin !

Notes

Andy Thorn was sacked yesterday just four games into a new season.

But when you follow The Sky Blues nothing shocks you anymore, in fact if the local paper said the Ricoh has been turned overnight into a Zoo I wouldn’t bat an eyelid.

But I did spit my toast out this morning when I read that Harry Redknapp is a possible replacement, I looked at the date as I thought it can’t be the first of April ?

We entertain our neighbours Birmingham tomorrow night in the League Cup, I can’t wait to hear the banter from the Brummies !
