that will signal the death knell
of the English game as we know it.
A League 3 with Premiership B
teams seeking to ply their trade
against conference teams.
And this will help the national team how?
Imagine going to watch a match
featuring Swindon and Stoke B?
One a club with over a hundred
years of history and tradition;
the other the exact opposite:
a side made up of under 21s
with limited experience of competition;
like a training ground exercise
or pre-season friendly played out
in a practically empty stadium.
Lower league clubs will go to the wall,
the heart ripped out of their community
if we allow it.
