Boudewijn Zenden’s Girlfriend

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Boudewijn Zenden’s girlfriend was a classy bit of stuff.
She was his iv’ry goddess and he was her bit of rough.
She loved designer labels; she was cultured and discerning,
Particularly after she found out what he was earning.
‘Twas Gucci this, Armani that, or possibly Dior,
While any other labels, she just threw onto the floor.
He very often chided that her tastes were too expensive,
And by the age of twenty three, her wardrobe was extensive.
So when her birthday came around, she thought she’d have some craic-
He went to Oxfam and picked something cheap from off the rack.
He cut the dress’s label off and wrapped the garment neatly,
And found a little gift-tag, which he stuck on to it sweetly.
And then he sent it parcel post, to really set the tone,
But back it came –
“Return to Zenden,
A dress unknown.”
