A Wednesday fan ive always been, A Wednesday fan I’ll stay,
i brought me son up just the same, Thank god for yesterday,
When you have watched the Wednesday for as many years as me,
you take the dreadful dreary days, you’re used to it, you see,
and Owls misfortunes, though they hurt, are taken on the chin,
but my lads known nowt else my friends, it means much more to him,
He stood in Cardiff yesterday, The Wednesday down 2-1,
8 minutes left, the fans bereft, i looked upon my son,
his face it was a mirror, of my own from years ago,
with Wednesday bloody losing, and not long left to go,
Then miracle of Miracles, from pear shaped to a peach
from some god forsaken midden, to sunshine on a beach,
I’ll not forget this season, there will always be a trace,
of Talbot and the 4th one…and the look on my lads face
