England shouldn’t fear the Italians

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 England got lucky against Ukraine
as that ball had crossed the line
but it happened before to Frank Lampard
so in the end it turned out just fine.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 The Three Lions aren’t playing that well
but then again they’re proving hard to beat
that’s usually a good sign in football
as they’ll be confident whoever they meet.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 But now it’s the tricky knockout stage
and Italy stand in England’s way
but these games are like Cup matches
so anything can happen on the day.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 Roy Hodgson’s only been in charge five minutes
but he looks like he was born for the role
and he’s not as defensive as we thought he’d be
as England go forward more looking for a goal.

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 So England shouldn’t fear the Italians
as they’ve no Maldini, Baggio, or Zoff,
and don’t worry about Ballotelli either
as he’ll more than likely get himself sent off !

Notes

To be honest I never thought England would have got this far, but we are in the quarter final so fair play to Hodgson and his players.

Italy are a decent team but are beatable and aren’t the force they once were.

So roll on Sunday night and let’s hope we wake up on Monday morning with a smile on our faces !
