So…who’ll come out on top
Of this immensely talented, formidable crop
Aspiring to hold aloft, one Jules Rimet?

Diables Rouges De Bruyne dictating the play?
In a game almost certain to captivate us all?
Were I to Hazard a guess
In such an evenly matched contest
I’d have to say…tis a close one to call.

Notes

This first semi should be a blinding, albeit tight game to my way of thinking? Belgium were my out-side tip to do well – if they decided to turn up that is? – before the off.

On the other hand I feel France are not quite firing yet – despite Kyllian Mbappe – so maybe this game will be one too soon for Deschamp and his team? But hey…what do I know?
