Get under ‘im I would.
And there is not the slightest doubt

Especially in the pourin’ rain,
My victim cold and blunderin’,
And, like a rampant express train,

“Get under ‘im!” me dad’d shout.
Get under ‘im I would.
I’d take both ‘im an’ ball right out
By slidin’ through the mud.

I’d bide my time until the ball
Was ripe for rampant plunderin’,
Though if you stood off ‘im at all,
You might be left there wonderin’.

“Get under ‘im!” me dad’d shout.
Get under ‘im I would.
A pleasure of my youth, no doubt,
That’s seldom understood.
