Ghandi of the Football Stands

no doubting the referee.
No taunting, no fighting,
the game no less exciting

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 Peaceful and gentle
in a sea of aggression,
fasting from hate
in an ocean of mean.

while we punch the air,
a kiss when we miss
replaces despair

with half-time apples and tea.
She may not meet the standard
of Mahatma Ghandi,
