I Run The Line – Part 2

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 I run the line,
My feet
Aquainted with a thousand
Miles.
Wherever I go
Greeted by smiles
Of derision.
They think I can’t see,
But my vision
Is the key to my success.
To stand out from the crowd
I used to dress
In black,
Though not through any sense
Of fashion.
I’ll wear many,
Any colours on my back
To pursue my passion.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 Who am I?
I’ve been called many names,
By different people,
Playing different games.
I used to be called linesman,
But now I am insistent,
I shall be called
Referee’s assistant.
I run the line,
And for an ever briefer time
That line is mine.
