It was nice to see the away fans

Conference teams don’t get much support
Only die hard fans addicted to the sport
On any other normal Saturday
Not many fans would travel away
But this game wasn’t a league tie
Only one of the two would qualify
For the first round proper of the biggest prize
In football; where big teams play the little guys
Where minnows become giant killers
And every game is a thriller
It was the 4th and final qualifying round
And over 4,000 packed into the ground
With hopes of their team going through
It was a clash of red and blue
The opposite end away fans packed in
And throughout the game made a hell of a din!
They made more noise when they did score
To the lower league club it meant more
Because the FA cup can make a club’s dreams
But can be nightmares for the bigger teams.
