Justice Call

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Didn’t expect to get our justice, all served up neatly on a plate.
But that justice should now be ours, no more time to wait.
Didn’t expect to get our justice, without putting up some sort
of a fight.
But now it should be ours, not just a dream to have in the night.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 And their lies won’t be forgotten, or their stories they had to put
straight.
Though justice even now, for some it would come too late.
We’ll remember the pay offs given out, and the medical retirements
dished out with a thanks.
Christ, the things you can pull off, when a force in blue closes
ranks.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 Didn’t expect to get our justice, all delivered with ribbons and bows.
But tell one lie and as you know, it grows, it grows and it grows.
So more and more lies they told, soon in the national papers to be read.
Lies lapped up by a sun reading public, who then blamed the fans for
the Hillsborough dead.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 But one thing they didn’t expect was to take on one red and you
take on them all.
They probably thought we’d have given up by now, and forgot all
about our justice call.
Guess they thought their lies, would now be just a thing of the past.
But our fight for justice will go on, no matter how long that fight
may last.
