Leaving of Liverpool (For Sydney)

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Walking on, through wind and rain
Or tanning on Bondi sand
Sizzling steaks on the barbie
Or a cold scouse pie in the hand
Mersey Tunnel or the Harbour Bridge
Kylie Minogue or Cilla Black
Warm Carlsberg or a Fosters Ice
Bustling crowds or lying back
Twenty two men, bag of wind
Or beach babes in their thongs
Sweet music from the Opera House
Hairy arsed Kop-ites singing songs
Sun kissed skies or dull and grey
Hats with corks or perms and ‘taches
But swap the beauty of an Anfield goal
For Aussie cricket and a pot of ashes?

Notes

You never miss the water, ‘till the well has run dry. Santa, you must be mad.
