Marlon King is his name
The Sky Blue fans won over
So glad now he came.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 He’s Premiership class
As Millwall found out
“There’s only one Marlon ”
The Sky Blue hardcore shout.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 He came with a bad reputation
Some fans decided to stay away
But when he’s in our team
They are a joy to go and see play.

but it’s water off a ducks back
he gets the City fans to their feet
when he goes on the attack.

But we know how fickle football can be
He says he loves playing for us
And so grateful to Coventry City F.C.

and he’ll always be enemy number one
but I never thought I’d be saying this
I’d miss watching him when he’s gone.

Notes

A fair few Cov fans didn’t like us signing King and decided to stop going to games, I decided to be non judgemental and just let him get on with playing football. And he has been great for us, and the fans love him, and we hope he stays here but we always flog our best players no matter what we fans feel !
