Missing A Chance

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 When I miss a goal
Heaven does not crack open its bars
The earth does not gather speed
To spin faster on its axis
The oceans continue to heave
And pour over the edge of the land
The night continues in its long pursuit
Of the day
All of life remains the same
Each to their own place and space
Each to their allocated time
No one and nothing changes
Except me for my boots weep
When I miss a goal.
