Although today
We played abysmal

You took away our equalizer
Because your assistant flagged “offside”

But what else could you do
Just another five or six minutes
Is all I ask of you

You looked the other way
Your assistant did the same
He, too, is having a bad day

Just let our striker do his thing
He’s still in his prime
He’ll make our supporters sing

When he gave away that penalty kick
He’s really a very nice guy
Not another football lunatic
