My philosophical wife

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 said to me the other day
that “I’ve been to the bar of beer with reason
weighed lightly with sequins and thoughtful actions
such as were thought for many seasons by some
to be impossible for women like me
and consider myself too merry to argue
the importance of a goal not being a goal
and feel that we should still go to Venice
this summer, although I do sometimes
change my opinions, with or without soda. I think
that video evidence should be allowed
for difficult decisions, if only for when the ball
may or may not have gone over the line.”

Notes

The sequin (zecchin) was once a coin in Venice.
