So many lives still lay ahead, oh pity them.
96 innocent victims, one as young as ten.
Hold their memories close to heart, don’t
let go.
How heaven lit up that day, what a glow.

More victims have suffered since that day.
We must remember them in the same way.
It’s my birthday today if only wishes came true.
Then all those reds would have seen their live
through.

Sometimes I’m lost for words I let tears replace.
Though words or tears should not be the case.
If only those in charge had did what they ought.
Then no pity would be needed, no justice sought.
