1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Trouble on tube line, but we didn’t care
Arsenal four nil and we had been there
We had seen the back-heel, and had jumped to our feet
We were just too exultant to remain in our seat

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 We had seen Reyes play like a young toreador
Providing the passes for Henry to score
Never mind the headlines – ‘Bustup On Bus’
Our team were united, and playing for us

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 As always, there’ll be someone searching for dirt
Something with which to smear someone’s shirt
But the Gunners march on, a family-like band
The finest, the greatest, ever seen in this land

Notes

Still smiling after seeing that audacious back flick on Saturday
