One For Sorrow.Part Six.

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 A magpie was perched on a twig,
So happy he started to jig.
A Sheffield owl swooped out the sky,
“I heard you singing as I flew by.”
The magpie stopped singing to say,
“We beat the Mackens on Sunday.
The boys went nap, Nolan scored three,
And two more for Ameobi.
The lads did it for Chris Houghton,
Critics stum, who put the boot in.
Now ex players like Super Mac,
Can bite their tongues get off his back.
He’s ridden the storm whilst at the helm..
And through it all always stayed calm.
The things that’ve been said, simply crass,
He’s risen above and showed his class.
Stability is what we need.
This the only way to succeed.
“Wise words” said the owl, “Wise my friend,
Geordie support will win in the end.”

Notes

stum is to be silent.

The rumour that Bruce had gone to Scotland and was last seen in a damp cave talking to a spider are yet to be confirmed.
