Proud to be a Coventry fan

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 I love being a Coventry City fan
and wear the clubs colours with pride
I just like being amongst our supporters
and cheering on our beloved side.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 I owe my allegiance to my father
who took me to games as a lad
he told me to stick with the team
even when times are really bad.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 I’ll never stop following the City
my blood isn’t red but Sky Blue
I’d still go and watch them play
if we ended up in league Division Two.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 Had some good times along the way
but alas a lot of misery as well
winning the F.A,Cup was heaven
followed by seasons of pure hell.

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 But we’ve still got our hardcore
who follow the team home and away
we’re just like one devoted family
who like to meet up on a Saturday.

6 Leave a comment on verse 6 0 So yes I love being a Coventry supporter
the Sky Blues are the only team for me
but that’s all down to my late father
who took me when we were in Division Three !

Notes

At the game on Saturday we got our first win of this campaign but a lot of our fans want the owners out and there were some nasty incidents between fans and stewards.It’s been simmering for a while but not condoning the actions of a few supporters it just showed the passion for our club and what it means to us.
As the stewards found out throughout the match !
