Call it a tribal thing,
Laugh if you must,
Our game has a name,
An underlying trust,
Of human nature,
Not of just history and hate,
The word is RESPECT,
Disrespect it if you dare!!
DISRESPECT OUR GAME IF YOU DARE!!!.

I will tell you a story about love and pain,
This story is derived from the beautiful game,
On the 9th of March 1946,
Bolton vs Stoke on the Wanderers Pitch,
33 died underneath the bricks,
Of a wall that thought it was time to tumble and break,
Thirty three lives you bricks did take.

Then in 1958,
The lives of 23 the Devil did take,
On an ungodly runway in Munich it has been told,
You took from us a football team that was worth its weight in gold.

Then on the 2nd of January 1971,
Celtic vs Rangers,
The famous one,
At East terrace at Staircase 13 it was no fun,
66 human beings perished in a last goal run.

Then on the 11th of May 1985,
Bradford City vs Lincoln PEOPLE did die,
Someone thought I’ve had enough of this cigarette,
And 56 supporters their makers met,
They died in tragedy,
In fire and flame,
WHO DO WE BLAME?????

A few days later on the 29th May,
An Italian team the mighty Liverpool did play,
39 people perished,
We was named and shamed,
Rightly or wrongly,
We paid our dues,
I seriously doubt will we ever be given the clues,
To the case history that we are owed,
To smoothing over the hurt between our shores.

Then on the 15th of April in 89,
The Yorkshire Police COMMITTED the most HIDEOUS CRIME,
96 supporters of the Liverpool team,
Had bought tickets to a match to live their dream,
To see their team win a chance of a silver cup,
They attended a match,
What could have been up?

Our dreams were intact,
With innocent love for our team,
We trusted the authorities,
With our safety IT’S A FACT,
But you broke our trust,
You literally BROKE OUR BACKS.

SO DO NOT QUOTE FOOTBALL IN THE SAME PHRASE AS HATE,
We may not like you,
But you still are mates,
Do not sing about upset,
Or taunt our dead,
IF IT HAPPENS AGAIN NEXT MATCH DAY,
IT WILL BE ON YOUR HEADS!!!!!!

RESPECT for the blues and the whites and the reds,
You can not sing football songs when you are dead.
