And now where’s he gone.

But he never stuck around
Much to everyone’s surprise,

Did really well.
Then Swales hired Maddock.
Reid’s departure left a smell.

More like. No idea.
He couldn’t save us from
Relegation (that was abundantly clear).

But never a first choice,
The man from 66 – naive
With a squeaky voice.

For 32 days,
But the enormity of the task
Left him confused and dazed,

We were optimistic.
But he never delivered.
It’s that simplistic.

From the despair of League 2,

It was still looking dire.

With much to muse.
We wish him luck.
