Sam Parkin

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Super Sammy is his name,
Scoring goals is his claim to fame,
When I go to the County Ground,
And Sam is not playing, it’s never quite the same.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 It is music to my ears, when his shot nestles in the back of the net,
I am glad that I go down Ladbrokes, for I do place a bet,
On Sam being the first to score, each Saturday.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 The sweetest sound could be,
When the tannoy does state
Goal scored by number 9, Super Sammy Parkin
And I say to Jamie Holt,” hey, Sam’s won it for us mate”.
And the opposition look full of hate
As they all pour out through the gate.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 When the final whistle does blow,
and the fans’ faces do glow
Sam has won us the match
For Andy King and the lads, Super Sam was a great catch.

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 I hope he stays at Swindon Town
Because he’s good enough for England.
He will lead us back to the Premiership
Back to where we belong
Where Andy King can keep his grip,
Firmer than ever
To steer our ship
To victory
