Stein & Shanks

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Two fine men of football’s passion
The Liverpool Soul The Celtic Heart
And with the Good Lord watching o’er
Their deeds found fame on football parks

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 Their names a hymn upon the Kop
The Jungle Tales revered still
Two humble men whom God made Saints
One known as Jock, the other Bill

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 The men they called to build their sides
Robed in the red and emerald green
Pulled on those shirts and played with pride
And packed their boots with hopes and dreams

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 And from the blessed earth of Lanarkshire
From the unforgiving toil of that Celtic mine
Would come their football legacy
That echoes down the halls of time.
