1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 There’s never a dull moment
always something going on
while players and teams were poor
others like the Sun they shone.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 Referees making dreadful decisions
one spoilt player going on strike
some managers jumping for joy
while the Forest one got on his bike.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 Fans staging demonstrations
chanting give him the sack
others ripping up season tickets
saying that they’ll never come back.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 Players with a point to prove
putting their critics to shame
showing they’ve still got it
scoring goals to win the game.

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 Some teams are still unbeaten
their fans go home with a smile
but spare a thought for those
whose team haven’t won for a while.

6 Leave a comment on verse 6 0 Yes this is The Beautiful Game
with all it’s drama and controversy
but that’s why we all love it
and without it where would we all be ?

Come on let’s be honest our teams and players can drive you mad,we moan about this and moan about that but we still keep going don’t we ?
And the reason why we keep paying our hard earned cash ?
Because without it we’d be lost !
