Rooney signs for Everton they breathe a sigh of relief

¶ 2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 A stray boot whacks Beckham as February starts
Teddy scores 300 but not for the arse
The eagles pluck Liverpool out of the cup
Sir Bobby reaches 70 and he’s not giving up

¶ 3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 In March Anfield South is a win for the pool
St Michael and Stevie put two past Man U
Terry Venables at Leeds has run out of time
Whilst Sgt.Wilko is marched from the stadium of light

And England stuff Turkey to give us some cheer
Tigana leaves Fulham there’s a hat trick for Scholes
Whilst Birmingham are saved by a Dugarry goal

They fly off to Seville but the ref cooks their goose
The premiership title on loan to Salford again
And the Champions League’s won by AC Milan

The sad news is Marc Vivien Foe collapsed on the pitch
We bid farewell to a man who will be greatly missed

With a sackful of money and learning English from Sven

Whilst Jeffers boots Neville, no changes there then!
