The Anfield Eleven

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 There is no other colour and no other club
There is no other road to my heaven
Than to put on the red and set off down the breck
And in The Kop watch the Anfield Eleven
Oh heaven is fair and as fair as could be
Of that oh so sure I am certain
But heaven has nought but a father for me
Yea I wait with the Anfield Eleven
And the devil he called me with all of his charm
Promised riches and fame oh forever
But my faith did not falter when he asked for my soul
For that is claimed by the Anfield Eleven
So of all I could dream for with passion and prayer
From a child hasn’t changed no not never
But a place in The Kop where the Angels all stop
To watch the deeds of the Anfield Eleven.
