The Blues

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Oh we are The Blues
One day front page views back page news
We wont sign Beckham in a Sarong
Thats where we went wrong
No Nevilles or Giggs or throwing the heads of pigs
Into an arena of hate the whistle blows late
The blues have won the job is done

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 When we go Up –Im Up
When we go Down–Im Down
When we’re only halfway Up it depresses the entire town…

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 Thats why we are The Blues
Waking up this morning feeling dead
Make my toast on the bread
But at 3 PM I’m as happy as can be
Getting a result playing for the shirt against the City
Thats the story and the glory of The Titanic cruise
That is following The Blues…

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 When we go Up–I’m Up
When we go Down–Im Down
When we’re only halfway Up it depresses the entire town…

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 Thats living The Blues…

Notes

Constructing the poem was easily accomplished using and utilising catchpenny utility songs that basically was funny and could be used for any purpose. Fundamentally it has to be entertaining and hopefully it is–that’s not for me to judge…nonetheless hopefully it is commensurate with the incontrovertibly high standards of your website–I was impressed with the overall quality

And not only that using everyday songs actually helped me construct and compose the score that eventually found form after inevitably hit and miss–literally–cross-permutaions–so I hope you enjoyed reading the poem and I look forward to hearing from you.

Thank You.
