The Bold Liverpool Men

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 There like a red sea o’er the red Anfield Terrace
With red banners and red flags proudly flown
Hearts fevered on fire Kopites standing together
Dalglish still a king on his Anfield throne
Bob Paisley’s grand legion their blessed boots shining
Their wonderful football a gospel no less
The Spion Sons legend ’tis Liverpool’s rally
Out and make way for the bold Liverpool Men!

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 We’ve come from the North and the South to the Mersey
Let the mancs come forth, aye they’ll not match our force
Owen the sword and Gerrard the cannon
Hamann with Hyppia and Henchoz of course
We’ll make the mancs yield many a red battlefield
God on our side we will triumph again
Pay them back goal for goal bring home the title they stole
Out and make way for the bold Liverpool men!

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 Side by side for the cause like our Fathers before us
Cardiff and Paris and Wembley and Rome
Oh many’s the pitch where defences have rattled
For the Reds marched to glory, and none walked alone
And those who inherit their name and their spirit
Will rise ‘neath the banners of Shankly then
All who love Liverpool, disciples of Anfield
Sing: make way for the bold Liverpool men!
