and our Blackpool heroes are doing just fine
beneath the blue sky, we’ll be flying so high

Young guns from Wembley, who shoot from the hip
Its profits not seating, when our budgets are fleeting
we won’t fail, while you’re singing in the rain

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 Let our forwards run free, to create misery
beneath a tangerine sun, we’ll score two or three
we’ll survive relegation, and there’ll be celebration
we won’t fail, while you’re singing in the rain

against any team, we’ll turn up the heat
when you know you are snared, there’ll be no quarter spared

we’ve asked for your comfort, but our request is in vain
you’ll sink in our sand, in the Gene Kelly Stand

Notes

Even though The Seasiders currently play in the English Championship,
mostly to full houses, and after winning the play offs at Wembley, we still only have 2 sides to our ground.
