As ‘Championey’ rang out loud
The Blue boys took to field of green
Those Geordies did us proud!

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 They cheered us on to sacred ground
And clapped us to a man
Then celery rained down on them
Like manna from your man!

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 We made folk lore with that one draw
And cheered as Shedheads can
As our scratch team fulfilled our dreams
With one defeat all term!

We clapped and cheered and sang
We are the champions this year
The best team in the land!

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 The Toon were very gracious
It’s not been a good year
But to a man they cheered and sang
As our team did appear!

Awesome response fron the Toon as we took the field at St Jame’s Park yesterday, you had to be there to see it to belive it. Everybody stood and applauded the Blues as we took the field for the last game of the season. But I would expect nothing else from great fans and really great people!

Blues in abundance, whole families, mums dads, two or three kids, grandads, grandmas! Just a fantastic un-forgettable experience.

Wye Eye Man!!!

Almost nine hours of travelling was worth every minute!
