The Hubble Deep Space Telescope

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 The Hubble Deep Space Telescope has unimagined powers.
It holds no trepidation of the universe it scours.
It’s studied distant galaxies and meteoric showers,
And now it’s found a planet that is similar to ours.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 It’s roughly the same density, identical in size
With fluffy clouds that float across the clearest light blue skies.
Small wonder it’s attracting our best scientific eyes,
And telescopes are trained upon the orbit where it lies.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 “It’s not identical to us, “Sir Patrick Moore has said,
“The offside law we’re using has been firmly put to bed.
On their world, this “interfering” nonsense is quite dead,
So, as a race, they’re obviously many years ahead.”
