The Joy And Spontaneity

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 The joy and spontaneity this game can bring
Can make even the lowliest of crying hearts sing
A glancing header from the edge of the box
The ball swings wildly past the defender it mocks
Landing in the path of the striker’s domain
With one simple kick nothing will be the same
The screams of the team are echoed by the crowd
The losers on their knees while the winners stand proud
It’s time to sit up, up on the throne
Now that the referee’s whistle is blown.
