When you looked into the East Bank
You shouldn’t have feigned your surprise
Where once we sung your praises
Now we just loathe and despise

You may have followed the money
Turned your back and said adieu
But fans that once sung your name
Still bleed that same Red n Blue

Now you add insult to injury
Saying you moved to a bigger and better club
You twisted the knife around and then
The salt into the wounds you rub

So we sung “**** off Jonny Challinor!”
Maybe you should have been warned
That you had no God-given pedestal
Hell hath no fury like the East Bank scorned

So come the end of the season
We’ll see who is going up or staying down
Jonny, you might well be laughing
But my money is on Aldershot Town
