The Tolka Artists’ Academy

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 The art class were informed that they
Could draw their own creation.
The weekly topic (that’s to say)
Was their imagination.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 Some pupils knit their brows in thought
Whilst others doodled idly.
Several students did resort
To muttering quite snidely.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 Stewie was the first one to
Draw gasps from those inside,
While Richie Baker smartly drew
The centre-half out wide.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 Steve Williams drew some loud applause
For several saves he’d made,
While Wes and Ollie both drew straws
To see which of them played.

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 Buzzer Rowe then drew a cheque
From Inchicore’s new bank,
Though poor Glenn Crowe, a nervous wreck –
Once more he drew a blank.

Notes

Derry 0 Shels 0 – and still GlennCrowe can’t score
