Thinking the Unthinkable

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Oh, Liverpool FC is a truly massive club –
They’ve won hundreds of League Titles,
And five European Cups.
But their season’s started badly,
There are rumblings on the Kop,
And there’s tension in the Boot Room,
Talk of rot that must be stopped.
Then, regarding Mr Rodgers,
There’s a rumour going round,
That if things don’t pick up pronto,
He could soon be for the chop!
And when thoughts turn to next May,
There are even some who say,
That the mighty Liverpool FC
Just might be for the Drop!
Of course, it will not happen,
The idea’s quite unthinkable.
But perhaps it’s worth remembering
A certain ship was once billed as unsinkable…
