TO MY GIRLS, FROM THEIR COACH

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Score goals if goals still have worth
Treat all the girls, as they are – your team
Pass and dribble all over the earth
Kick hard when crossing over a stream

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 Let the ball do the work for you
And not the other way around
It will do whatever you want it to
Tell it to sail off of the ground

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 Decide early to whom you will pass
Your choice will determine your success
Hit it true; let it sail across the grass
Force the defenders to have to guess

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 Never pass when you can shoot
Don’t be afraid to take even a half chance
Just whack it with the top of your boot
And do your goal-scoring dance

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 Goals are important – they make you feel good
When you score so does the whole squad
So should you shoot – you most certainly should
And give praise to the soccer god

6 Leave a comment on verse 6 0 Goals will always mean something
They make players celebrate
and make the supporters sing

Notes
